Sonora, CA – Motorists are once again able to drive over Ebbetts Pass after weekend storms shut it down but two other Mountain Passes remain closed due to snow.
As reported here, Caltrans closed Ebbetts Pass at the Mount Reba turnoff and High 108 Sonora Pass at Kennedy Meadows on Thursday before the bad weather hit. Yosemite National Park officials shut down Highway 120 Tioga Pass on Sunday due to snow.
Both Sonora and Tioga passes remain closed as crews work to remove snow and debris from the roadways. No estimated time has been given for when those passes will reopen to travelers.
