Jamestown, CA — Scheduled Caltrans road maintenance is causing traffic back up and motorist delays through Jamestown.
As reported here, Caltrans has called for up to 15 minute delays as crews are striping along Highway 108/49 between Wigwam Road and Chicken Ranch Road in Jamestown. Flaggers are directing one way traffic control, but due to the roadway being a heavily traveled route the line of vehicles is quite lengthy and delays could be a bit longer.
Caltrans asks that motorists slowdown in the cone zones and use an alternative route if possible. The work is scheduled to last until 3 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Of note, Caltrans roadwork for the week ahead can be found every Sunday on the home page of myMotherlode.com.
