ATV Crash In Calaveras Resulted In DUI Arrest

San Andreas, CA – The CHP reports two individuals, one visiting from a European county, were injured in an ATV accident on Hawver Road north of Doster Road in Calaveras County.

The CHP reports, Maria Shaw, 25, from Madrid, Spain was driving a Polaris ATV at an unknown speed when she lost control of the four wheeler on a curve and overturned. The vehicle has two front seats, the passenger, Joseph Guidotti, 33, from Huntingtown, Maryland, suffered major injuries.

A neighbor drove both Shaw and Guidotti to Mark Twain Medical Center, according to the CHP.  Shaw sustained minor injuries and was later arrested for DUI resulting in major injuries to another person.
