Sonora, CA — The high school football playoffs get underway this evening.
The undefeated Sonora High Wildcats (10-0) face Modesto Christian (5-5) at seven o’clock at Dunlavy Field. Hear the game live on Star 92.7 and streamed on myMotherLode.com. Sonora enters as the top seed in the Division V bracket of the CIF Sac-Joaquin playoffs. The winner moves on to face either Capital Christian or Ripon on November 18.
Meanwhile, Bret Harte High School travels to Newman this evening to take on Orestimba. Bret Harte is the 5th seed in the VI bracket and the winner will move on to play either Amador or Denair.
In other action, Oakdale will be at home this evening hosting McNair. Then tomorrow, Calaveras High will host Marysville.
