Update at 7 p.m.: All three of the Mountain Passes have been shut down due to snow. Highway 4 Ebbetts Pass was closed at the Mount Reba turnoff and Highway 120 Tioga Pass was shut down at Crane Flat late Wednesday afternoon. Caltrans had already halted traffic on Highway 108 Sonora Pass at Kennedy Meadows earlier in the day. There is no word on when the passes could reopen as more wet weather is expected this weekend.
