Sonora, CA– Sonora’s Volleyball team will play Miramonte tonight at 7PM in the CIF Regional Semifinals. The game will be at Miramonte high school (see map below) which is in the town of Orinda half way between Walnut Creek and Oakland.
The volleyball team won Saturday’s home game against River Valley in four sets. They lost the first set by 4 points but won the next three sets to advance to the Regional Semifinals.
The varsity Head Coach is Amy Wahlbrink. If Sonora wins tonight they will play either Buhach Colony from Atwater or Acalanes from Lafayette on Saturday, Nov. 26.
In 2014, under coach Kim Evans, the girl’s volleyball team won the State Championship.
