Sonora, CA — Revelers by the thousands lined Washington Street for the 33rd Annual Sonora Christmas Parade that kicks off the holiday season.
There were over 50 entrants including floats, cars, bands and Santa that brought cheers from the crowd. You can view pictures of the event in the upper left-hand image box.
Additionally, many will be in Angels Camp today for the annual Open House and Parade. The event runs from 4-7 p.m., with the parade beginning at five and running through downtown. This year’s theme is “It’s a wonderful life in the City of Angels Camp.”
In Copperopolis there will be an “Old Fashion Holiday and Tree lighting” event at the town square today. It runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. with the tree lighting at six.
