Sonora, CA – The heavy rain has shut down the Alpine lane access to the Dragoon Gulch hiking trail in Sonora.
City road officials closed the lane access Tuesday due to flooding. They say they will monitor the situation and do not know when it will be able to reopen.
A baseline fire crew removed hazard trees along the trail in the past as reported here.
The trail is completely open but muddy in areas, so use extra caution. More wet weather is anticipated later this week. Click here for the latest road closure information.
