Groveland, CA — The Stanislaus National Forest has shut down areas of the Groveland Ranger District until the weekend.
Forest officials have temporarily closed recreation sites due to the heavy rain causing flooding. Forest spokesperson Diana Fredlund indicates that the areas will remain closed until Friday, Feb. 10 when the stormy weather is expected to have passed. Crews will then assess the situation and determine when to reopen the sites.
