Update at 1:15 p.m.: In Tuolumne County, the lights are back on for 569 PG&E customers along Tuolumne Road North off Highway 108 stretching from Tuolumne Rancheria to Camp Earnest. The lights went out just after noon. There is no word from the company on what sparked the outage.
Update at 12:25 p.m.: In Tuolumne County, there is a new outage along Tuolumne Road North off Highway 108 stretching from Tuolumne Rancheria to Camp Earnest impacting 569 customers. The lights went out just after noon. A crews is assessing the situation and there is no estimated repair time posted. The electricity has been restored on a Saturday morning outage near Chinese Camp that impacted 36 customers. (Please see below for additional power outages still in effect.)
Update at Noon: In Tuolumne County, crews continue to make progress on hold overs outages from yesterday. The number has dropped from 290 to 75 customers in the Cedar Ridge area without electricity since Friday afternoon due to equipment coming into contact with a power pole. The company estimates a 4 p.m. repair time. There remains 56 customers in Long Barn without lights due to a tree into power lines. The company now estimates a restoration time of 8 p.m. Another 68 along La Grange and Bonds Flat roads, west of Lake Don Pedro, There is no estimated time of repair posted for that outage. A Saturday morning outage near Chinese Camp has affecting 36 customers. A crew is assessing the cause and there is not restoration time posted, according to PG&E.
In Calaveras County, power is back on after a morning outage impacted 107 customers in the Valley Springs area along Olive Orchard and Warren roads off Highway 26. Additionally, the remaining 33 out of the original nearly 5,000 customer that were without electricity since around 1:30 p.m. Friday from Arnold to Forest Meadows have had their power restored. Downed power lines are to blame for that outage.

The lights are back on for 192 customers west of Coulterville along Dexter, Fisk and Greenley Hill roads. Hold overs from yesterday are 290 customers in the Cedar Ridge area where equipment came into contact with a power pole, the company estimates a 4 p.m. repair time. There remains 56 customers in Long Barn without electricity due to a tree into power lines. Another 68 along La Grange and Bonds Flat roads, west of Lake Don Pedro, and 21 in Twain Harte with no cause determined. There is no estimated time of repair posted for these outages.

Update at 7:45 a.m.: In Tuolumne County, Crews are making progress on a new outage west of Coulterville along Dexter, Fisk and Greenley Hill roads. Initially, 658 customers were impacted that numbers has fallen to 192.

Original post at 6 a.m.: PG&E crews worked overnight to repair nearly 4,000 customer power outages in the Mother Lode and this morning there are still some new and lingering outages.
In Tuolumne County, at the height of the outages Friday nearly 10,000 customers most along Highway 108 from Bumble to Tuolumne City were without electricity. This morning 658 customers west of Coulterville are waking up to no lights along Dexter, Fisk and Greenley Hill roads. The company has not determined a cause or an estimated time of repair. Hold overs from yesterday include 290 customers in the Cedar Ridge area where equipment came into contact with a power pole, 56 customers in Long Barn due to a tree into power lines, 68 along La Grange and Bonds Flat roads, west of Lake Don Pedro, and 50 in the areas of Twain Harte and Tuolumne City. There is no cause given or an estimated time of repair posted for these outages.
In Calaveras County, at one point nearly 5,000 customer were without lights since around 1:30 p.m. from Arnold to Forest Meadows. That number dropped to just 33 last night with downed power lines to blame for that outage. Another 133 customers remain without lights since late last night are in the Mountain Ranch areas.
