Jamestown, CA – A dark front window did not deter a Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Deputy from discovering drugs after a traffic stop near Jamestown recently.
The deputy pulled over the 2004 Nissan Altima on Highway 108 just east of the Montezuma Junction in Tuolumne County Friday evening for not having reflection material on the rear license plate and dark tinted front windows. Inside were two men from Riverbank, Gustavo Lizarragamedina and Rodrigo Luna, who had a local warrant related to failure to appear on charges of driving without a license. A sniff search around the vehicle from K9 Beau revealed a baggie with just under a gram of methamphetamine behind the passenger seat.
The men were arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance. Luna also faces his outstanding warrant.
