Sonora, CA — Tuolumne Utilities District (TUD) reports an additional day of pipe inspection will slow travel on Phoenix Lake Road.
As reported earlier, the district’s annual sewer pipeline inspection along the roadway began on Tuesday between Midland Drive and Meadowbrook Drive. Wednesday, crews moved to the area stretching from Belleview Creek Road towards the Sullivan Creek Bridge but were not able to complete the work. TUD officials say another day is needed, so flaggers will be conducting one-way traffic control along that span of Phoenix Lake Road from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 9th.
Motorists are asked to obey the cone zones and slow down where workers and equipment are present.
