Sonora, CA — At today’s Tuolumne Utilities District meeting the board of directors will vote on awarding a $99,600 contract for tree removal.
The work includes removing 190 dead and dying hazard trees near the Section Four ditch in the Twain Harte area and 45 trees near the Columbia College lift station. The lone company to submit a bid was Left Coast Land Clearing ($99,600). 75-percent of the costs will be covered through the California Disaster Act Declaration program.
The board will also have discussion about a Kewin Mill water pipeline repair project, the 2017 Capital Improvement Program, the purchase of iPads for electronic packets and the benefits of being a member of the Association of California Water Agencies. The meeting starts at 5:30pm.
It is in addition to a special meeting at 3pm we reported about last week to review options related to the Lakewood Park Dam.
