Update: Power Outage In Yosemite

Update at 10:15 p.m.: PG&E crews have made some progress on a power outage in Yosemite National Park this morning. The number of customers without electricity since around 4 a.m. has dropped from 305 to 213. Most of them are along Tioga Road/Highway 120, El Portal and Wawona roads to the Mariposa and Stanislaus County lines. The utility has pushed back the restoration time to around 5:30 p.m. and has yet to give a cause for the outages.

Original post at 6:45 a.m.: Yosemite, CA — A large portion of Yosemite National Park, including the valley floor, is waking up to no power this morning.

PG&E reports that just over 300 customers have no electricity along Tioga Road/Highway 120, El Portal and Wawona roads to the Mariposa and Stanislaus County lines. The 305 customers’ lights went out just after 4 a.m. Crews are investigating the cause and have given a restoration time of 1 p.m.
