Mid-July Road Work Planned in the Mother Lode

Some Caltrans road projects will impact traffic in the Mother Lode this week, July 13th to the 19th.

On Highway 4 in the Apple Blossom and Dam Road area and along the two miles to Brice Station Road is there will be one-way traffic control for shoulder work. The work is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

On Highway 4 one-way traffic control from Bonanza Mine Way to Appaloosa Road for highway construction work will continue Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. and on Friday from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m.

On Highway 26 one-way traffic control from Gillhaven Drive to Rich Gulch Lane for highway construction work will continue.

On Highway 108 a moving, alternating lane closure between Hidden Acres Road and Sonora Pass for a striping operation will Monday and continue through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m.

On Highway 120 a one-way traffic control at O’Byrnes Ferry Road for utility work on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

On Highway 120 another moving, alternating lane closure will be between Sanguinetti Road and Moccasin Creek Bridge for pavement marker replacement beginning Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m.

On Highway 120 a third moving, alternating lane closure between Yosemite Lakes Drive and the west boundary of Yosemite National Park will allow for a sweeping operation Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

Road projects are subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction-related issues. Caltrans asks motorists to obey signage and flaggers while slowing down around crews and equipment in the cone zones.
