Yosemite, CA — Yosemite National Park officials have identified a female hiker that was found deceased on the Pacific Crest Trail.
Park spokesperson Scott Gediman tells the Associated Press it was 27-year-old Chaocui Wang of China. Officials confirmed the death this past Monday and no additional information was released.
Still missing in Yosemite National Park is Alexander Sevier, 24, a hiker and active member of the US Navy. He disappeared in early May. He was last seen at his housekeeping camp site and was known to day hike alone out of Yosemite Valley.
