Angels Camp, CA — There has been some slow-and-go traffic on Highway 49 just south of Angels Camp.
Caltrans spokesperson Warren Alford says it is due to emergency repairs following an early morning accident that damaged the road on Tuesday. Click here to view the previous story. One-way traffic control will be in place near Carson Hill to downtown Angels Camp, through Saturday at 10am. Crews will be on scene day and night, and 10-15 minute delays can be expected during that period. Parrotts Ferry Road is an alternate route around the construction zone.
Of note, earlier this morning there was a brief complete closure of the highway, but it has returned to one-way traffic control, according to Caltrans.
