Sonora, CA– A small vegetation fire broke out in the Crystal Falls area close to 3:30 pm at 21768 Crystal Falls Drive. Air and ground crews quickly responded and made short work of a 10×10 spot fire with the forward progress stopped and the fire contained. Crews will remain on the scene mopping up. The cause of the fire is unknown.
