Update:Vegetation Fire In Valley Springs

Update at 3:25 p.m.: The forward progress of the fire has been stopped at 5 acres. Crews will remain on scene mopping up and reaching full containment.

Original post at 3:05 p.m.: Valley Springs, CA– An outbuilding in Valley Springs at Gillman Road at Paloma Road has caught fire and that fire has spread into nearby vegetation. Air and ground firefighting resources are on the scene and the fire has grown to 3 acres with a slow rate of spread. The cause of the fire is unknown.
