Fire At Parrotts Ferry Bridge

Tuolumne, CA– The forward progress of a fire at Parrotts Ferry Bridge on the Tuolumne County side was quickly stopped at about a quarter of an acre in size by responding air and ground resources.

Fire retardant was deployed and is on the roadway in this area. Crews will remain on scene mopping up so some activity can be anticipated. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
