Sonora, CA — Local health officials want to connect with community members working to improve the county.
The new health equity coalition at Tuolumne County Public Health asks, “If you are part of a community-based organization or are working to improve our county with friends and neighbors, please consider joining this coalition.”
Those interested can get more details at a meeting on Monday, September 18, 2023, from 4–5 p.m. held at the central conference room at the Tuolumne County Public Health Department located at 20111 Cedar Road North in Sonora. Thereafter, meetings will be held quarterly at that same location. Those who join the meetings will learn about all community health updates. Each meeting will deal with a range of topics, including discussing projects, programs, and initiatives, facilitating opportunities for sharing and collaborating, strengthening abilities to respond to local emergencies, and promoting health equity efforts at all levels of the county.
