Motorists can expect a few delays on Mother Lode highways this week, from December 8th to the 14th.
On Highway 132 moving lane closures between Bonds Flat Road and the Highway 49 Junction in Coulterville will allow for pavement marker replacement beginning Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Highway 26 will also have one-way traffic control at the South Fork Mokelumne River Bridge and North Fork Mokelumne River Bridge for guardrail work beginning Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m.
There will also be one-way traffic control on Highway 26 from the Middle Fork Mokelumne River Bridge to Pine Street for tree work on Friday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
On Highway 49 in Calaveras one-way traffic control from Avenue B to Highway 26 will allow for sign/banner work beginning Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Highway 49 will have one-way traffic control between Columbia Way and Rawhide Road in Tuttletown for tree work on Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Motorists should expect 10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. Road projects are subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction-related issues. Caltrans asks motorists to obey signage and flaggers while slowing down around crews and equipment in the cone zones.
