Caltrans Road Projects at the End of January and in Early February

A few road projects will impact traffic in the Mother Lode this week, here are the Caltrans projects scheduled the week of January 28th to February 3rd.

On Highway 12 road striping will continue to impact one of the two lanes with a moving closure from the West State Route 26 and Laurel Street to Highway 49. The work is planned Monday through Thursday from 9 am to 4 pm with expected 5-minute delays to traffic in the area.

On Highway 4 from the Vallecito Road and the Old Highway (Bypass) to 3.5 miles to Batten Road tree work will limit traffic to one-way. The work is scheduled from 8 am to 3 pm Sunday through Friday with expected 10-minute delays to traffic.

Caltrans did not release information about any projects in Tuolumne County this week.

Road projects are subject to change due to weather, availability of equipment, traffic incidents, and/or materials and construction-related issues. Caltrans asks motorists to obey signage and flaggers while slowing down around crews and equipment in the cone zones.
