Update at 3:20 p.m.: PG&E crews have restored power to a majority of the 689 customers in the Cold Springs area of Tuolumne County that have been without lights since this morning. The outage is along the Highway 108 corridor and is still impacting 134 customers. The company blames the outage on the weather, and while it updates that crews are working on the issue, no estimated restoration time has been listed for the remaining customers.
Original post at 11:59 a.m.: Tuolumne County, CA — PG&E reports a power outage along Highway 108 in Tuolumne County, impacting nearly 700 customers.
Their lights went out around 10:15 a.m. in the Cold Springs area, between Long Barn and Pinecrest, on the Stanislaus National Forest. The utility reports that the “preliminary” cause of the outage that left 689 customers without electricity was the weather, but gives no further explanation. A crew is working to restore power, and the company has given no estimated repair time.
