Calaveras County, CA — The CHP has identified the victim in a fatal crash on Winton Road near Robinville Drive.
51-year-old Christopher Murray of Lodi was tragically killed when he failed to negotiate a curve, went off the road, and hit a tree. Murray was not wearing a seatbelt and died from injuries sustained. The CHP reports that drugs and/or alcohol are believed to be a factor in the crash. It occurred at 5:30pm this past Friday, and additional details remain under investigation.
