Calaveras County, CA — The CHP has identified a 56-year-old Mokelumne Hill Man that was killed in a crash on Michel Road North of Cave City Road.
It happened Friday at 3:05pm. For an unknown reason, the CHP reports that Ken James Ingle drifted across the southbound lane in his 2000 Ford Explorer and onto the westbound shoulder. The SUV then collided with a large tree. Ingle was not wearing his seatbelt and sustained fatal injuries.
The CHP reports that the crash is still under investigation.
