Sonora, CA– Laura Sunday, a professional with a diverse background, has been appointed as the new Executive Director for the Blue Zones Project in Tuolumne County. With over 40 years of experience in training design and delivery, Laura brings knowledge and expertise to her new role.
Laura’s career has been marked by a dedication to building healthier and safer communities. She has worked extensively with special needs children, facilitated programs for children exposed to violence and trauma, and coordinated initiatives aimed at preventing domestic violence, sexual assault, and bullying. Her focus on creating inclusive and violence-free environments has earned her recognition in the field.
As CEO of Rizing Force Consulting, Laura has empowered community members and boards with tools for strategic planning, conflict resolution, and leadership development. Her passion for helping individuals discover their strengths and pursue their dreams aligns with the mission of the Blue Zones Project. Since joining the Tuolumne County Blue Zones Project team in January 2023, Laura has made contributions, leading purpose workshops and organizing community events.
Now, as Executive Director, Laura is thrilled to lead the Blue Zones Project in Tuolumne County. She looks forward to collaborating with Adventist Health Sonora and the community at large to promote health and well-being.
