Sonora, CA — The high school football playoffs get underway this evening.
The Sonora High Wildcats (8-2) play host to Highlands (7-3) at 7pm and you can hear the game live on Star 92.7. Sonora is the top seed in the CIF Sac Joaquin Division V bracket, after going undefeated in the Mother Lode League, and Highlands is the eighth seed. The winner will play November 17th against either Orestimba or Colfax.
Tomorrow, the Summerville Bears (8-2) will host Hilmar (5-5) at Thorsted Field. Hear the game live at 7pm on 93.5 KKBN. Also tomorrow, Calaveras High (9-1) plays host to Ripon (7-3).
