Original post at 11:48 a.m.: Tuolumne County, CA — First responders are working a three-vehicle collision on Highway 120 in the Moccasin area of Tuolumne County, where one person is pinned inside a vehicle.
The crash happened around 11:30 a.m. at the Highway 49 intersection, involving a Subaru, a Kenworth semi, and a Toyota Tundra pickup. The CHP reports that two of the vehicles hit head-on, and one person is pinned inside their vehicle.
The highway is completely blocked, and officers are directing traffic. The CHP asks motorists to avoid the area if possible. An ambulance has been called to the scene, as one person is reported to have major injuries. An update will be provided as soon as new information comes into the newsroom.
