Jamestown, CA — The Tuolumne County Coroner has identified the two Turlock residents killed in a crash on Highway 108/120 late Sunday evening.
The driver was 59-year-old Hope Giron and the passenger was her brother, 55-year-old Hector Manuel Giron. The CHP reports that for an unknown reason she lost control of the Ford Mustang, went over an embankment, and the car flipped over multiple times. It happened at 11:15pm near Rushing Hill Lookout Road. The highway was wet at the time of the crash. The Tuolumne County Coroner’s Office reports that autopsies, with toxicology, will be conducted.
