Valley Springs, CA — 200-pounds of marijuana were located in a home in the 6000 block of Hironymous Way in Valley Springs.
The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office Marijuana Enforcement Team served a search warrant at the residence because of concerns there was an illegal and unregistered indoor grow. No one was inside the home at the time of the bust. 282 plants were located in the garage, totaling 200-pounds. Four rooms in the home had been converted into growing areas, but no marijuana was located there. However, the sheriff’s office reports that it appears marijuana was recently removed from those areas because potting soil and marijuana leaves were scattered on the floors. An investigation is ongoing.
