Tree Removal In Arnold Prompts Road Closure

Arnold, CA – The removal of a hazardous tree will close a roadway in the Arnold area of Calaveras County tomorrow.

County public works officials report that PG&E crews will remove a dead tree to protect power lines from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24, at 1865 Evergreen Drive. The roadway will be closed between Pine Cone Drive and Manzanita Drive, east of Moran Road, near the Fly-in Acres Reservoir.

A detour route will be in place with signage. Motorists are asked to slow down and use caution in areas where personnel and equipment are in use. Questions regarding this work can be directed to the tree company PG&E hired to complete the job, Arborworks LLC, out of Oakhurst, at (559) 580-8835.
