Update: Pile Up On HWY 108 Stalls Traffic

Update at 4:15 p.m.: The CHP reports that the roadway has been cleared after a four-vehicle pile-up on Highway 108 in Jamestown that stalled traffic for around two hours. The crash happened around 2:30 p.m. just west of the 5th Avenue intersection. Two of the vehicles were blocking the westbound lane. Two people suffered minor injuries in the collision and were taken by ground ambulance to a local hospital to be treated.

Officers directed one-lane traffic for around two hours as a tow crew worked to remove the wreckage.

Original post at 3:20 p.m.: Jamestown, CA – First responders are on the scene of a four-vehicle collision on Highway 108 in Jamestown that is backing up traffic in both directions.

CHP spokesperson Officer Steve Machado reports that two of the vehicles are blocking the westbound lane just west of the 5th Avenue intersection. He added that two individuals were taken by ground ambulance to a local hospital.

A tow truck is on the scene, and the CHP hopes to have the vehicles removed within the hour. Motorists are asked to avoid the area if possible.
