Sonora, CA – The Mother Lode Fairgrounds is offering its yearly enticing free deal for local charities to hold an event at the grounds.
Through its annual 2025 Outreach Program, local non-profits will get a chance to vie for seven spots being offered to hold an event for no rental or a reduced rental fee. Fair officials advise, “It does not include your deposit, insurance, fire marshal permit, supplies, propane, or use of the fairgrounds staff for labor.”
Below are the criteria to be considered for the program:
To be considered, applicants must fill out an application that can be found here. It must be returned to the fair office at 220 Southgate Drive, off Stockton Road in Sonora, by Friday, November 8, 2024. Fair officials added that late applications will not be accepted. Members of the fair board will pick the winners at its November 20, 2024, meeting.
