Local Football Teams Sit Atop League Standings

Summerville, CA — The Summerville Bears and Sonora High Wildcats are hoping to stay undefeated in high school football.

Sonora High (5-0) will be at home tonight facing Hilmar (3-2). The Wildcats are sitting atop the Trans Valley League standings at 2-0 and Hilmar is 1-1. Summerville High (5-0) will travel to San Andreas to take on Calaveras High (5-1). Both teams are first in the Mother Lode League standings (2-0).

Bret Harte High School (0-4) is seeking its first win of the season at home against Big Valley Christian (3-2).
