Comcast Fiber Work To Delay Traffic In Downtown Sonora

Sonora, CA – Next week expect traffic delays in downtown Sonora near the police station and extending past the A.N. Francisco Building.

Comcast will be installing new conduit and fiber optic cables underground on Green Street beginning Monday, October 7th, on the roadway between West Dodge Street and the front of Sonora Police Station at 100 Green Street, just past Linoberg Street. There will be flaggers on-site working on traffic control.

Motorists are asked to find alternate parking as there may be delays with traffic in and around this area. Work hours will be Monday-Friday between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., and no parking signs will be put out on Sunday notifying those in the area.
