Calaveras County, CA – Calaveras County Public Works is asking the public to get involved with its Keep Calaveras Clean Project.
The public is asked to come up with or select a project slogan for its campaign for the project. The beautification project has received grant funding from the Caltrans Clean California Local Grant Opportunity to clean community parks with volunteer groups throughout the upcoming year.
“The slogan should embrace our commitment to our county to reduce trash, graffiti, and pollution in Calaveras communities and across Calaveras County, spreading awareness about litter prevention to peers,” relayed public works officials.
To participate in the project slogan, click here to find a survey where the public can provide feedback and create a slogan that could be chosen for the project. The nine-question survey includes slogans to vote on, what parks need cleaning up in the county, and whether the person wants to volunteer for park clean-up days. The deadline to complete the survey, found here, is Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at midnight. Questions or concerns can be directed to the county’s public works office at (209) 754-6401.
