Suspicious Vehicle Led To Three Arrest For Burglary

Amador County, CA – Neighbors reporting a suspicious vehicle resulted in the arrest of three men in Amador County for burglary, and a search also turned up an item linked to the suspects in another break-in.

A caller reported to sheriff’s officials last Tuesday, October 1, 2024, regarding a burglary of various power tools at a property in Plymouth. When a deputy arrived on the scene, a witness stated that the suspicious vehicle, occupied by three adult males, had been seen in the area earlier that day.

Several hours later, the deputy saw the vehicle with the suspects, who were not identified, inside and pulled it over. Due to one of them being on probation and another on Post Release Community Supervision a search was done that turned up stolen property, ammunition, burglary tools, and a large amount of methamphetamine on one of the suspects. The men were arrested.

The next day detectives searched two undisclosed residences, finding all the stolen property from the Plymouth property along with additional power tools and two motorcycles, one used in a different burglary earlier this year, according to sheriff’s officials.
