Update: Big Rig Rollover Crash In Calaveras County

Update at 13:06 p.m.: The CHP reports that first responders have cleared a big rig rollover crash this morning in the Valley Springs area. A semi with a fully loaded trailer of rock and gravel overturned on Burson Road near Camanche Parkway South in the eight o’clock hour this morning. A small diesel fuel spill also had to be cleaned up. It took about 5 hours to clear the roadway and completely reopen.

Original post at written by BJ Hansen 10:330 a.m.: Valley Springs, CA — The CHP, firefighters, and other emergency responders are working to clean up a big rig rollover crash this morning in the Valley Springs area.

It happened during the eight o’clock hour this morning on Burson Road near Camanche Parkway South. The CHP reports the truck was fully loaded with rock and gravel and it overturned. Thankfully, there were no injuries.

The Calaveras Consolidated Fire Department adds that it also left a small diesel fuel spill. You will want to avoid the area and be prepared for activity.
