PG&E Projects, Tuolumne Road, FOAC, On TC Board Agenda

Sonora, CA — Pacific Gas & Electric officials are scheduled to provide an update on undergrounding of lines and vegetation management projects to the Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday.

It is one of the main items of note that will be discussed at this week’s meeting getting underway at 9 am inside the board meeting room. The PG&E discussion is set for 9:30 am. Click here to read a recent story about undergrounding specific to Groveland.

The board will also hear about options for potentially placing reflectors on Tuolumne Road for safer night-time travel. The discussion is requested by District Three Supervisor Anaiah Kirk.

In addition, the supervisors will vote on revoking a conditional use permit that would have allowed the Friends of the Animal Community (FOAC) to construct a kennel on a property along Yosemite Road. We reported earlier that FOAC is looking at a new location for the project following concerns raised by neighbors, and a related lawsuit.

There will also be an annual report delivered by Access Tuolumne, and a presentation on Behavioral Health crisis services.

Tuesday’s 9 am meeting is open to the public.
