Suspicious Package Being Investigated At TC Sheriff’s Office

Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office lobby is closed this morning as deputies investigate a suspicious package that was located.

It was left by someone near the communications center.

The sheriff’s office has put out a statement, “Please avoid the area while deputies conduct their investigation. The sheriff’s office lobby at 28 Lower Sunset Drive will be closed until it is determined to be safe to resume regular business.”
