Update: Large Power Outage In Tuolumne County

Update at 3:53 p.m.: PG&E reports that the power has been restored to 3,740 customers in an outage that stretched from Twain Harte almost to Cold Springs in Tuolumne County and included Lyons Reservoir. The company did not report a cause for the outage that impacted customers on both sides of Highway 108. However, there was rain in the area when the lights went out in the two o’clock hour.

Original post at 3:05 p.m.: Tuolumne County, CA — PG&E is reporting a large power outage stretches from Twain Harte almost to Cold Springs in Tuolumne County and includes Lyons Reservoir, impacting over 3,500 customers.

The outage runs along the Highway 108 corridor and includes the Sugar Pine, Mi-Wuk Village, Sierra Village, and Long Barn areas. It is impacting 3,740 customers. The company relays, “Our team is evaluating the electrical system to identify damaged sections and make necessary repairs in order to safely turn the power back on.”

The estimated restoration time is midnight tonight.
