Original story posted at 7:34 am: Jamestown, CA — There are a pair of power outages in the Mother Lode impacting nearly 4,000 PG&E customers.

The first incident started during the six o’clock hour this morning and stretches from Jamestown over to Groveland. 2,696 customers are without power and full restoration is anticipated by 10:30 am.

The second incident, starting during the seven o’clock hour this morning, is impacting 1,311 customers in the Columbia area. PG&E says it is unclear when those customers will be restored.

Both outages were unplanned and PG&E reports that it is evaluating the electrical system to identify any damaged sections so that necessary repairs can be made, and power can be restored.

The PG&E outage map indicates that they are impacting areas like Columbia State Park, Columbia Airport, downtown Jamestown and Pine Mountain Lake.
