Additional Locations To Vote Starting This Weekend

Sonora, CA — As the General Election is less than two weeks away, there will be expanded opportunities to vote in person in Tuolumne and Calaveras counties starting this weekend.

Tuolumne County’s Election Chief, Donnie McNair, notes that the main election office at 2 South Green Street will be open for early voting this Saturday and Sunday from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm. In addition, there will be a vote center at the Tuolumne Resilience Center on Bay Avenue in Tuolumne during those same hours this weekend. They will remain open through Election Day and more sites will be going online next week. There are also 10 ballot drop boxes spread throughout the county. McNair notes that the election’s office has already received around 10,000 ballots in Tuolumne County, which accounts for about 29 percent of those registered.

In Calaveras County, Vote Centers will be open this Saturday and Sunday at the main election office inside the government center in San Andreas and at the Valley Springs-Jenny Lind Veterans Memorial Hall.
