Sonora Man Allegedly Threatens To Shoot Juveniles During Argument

Sonora, CA – An argument at a local restaurant erupts into a Sonora man allegedly telling juveniles he would shoot them.

The verbal argument happened recently outside the Applebee’s restaurant in the Crossroad Shopping Center on Sanguinetti Road in Sonora. When Sonora Police officers arrived on the scene, a group of juveniles told them that a male subject inside the restaurant had made a threat to shoot them.

When the officers went to question the man, he reportedly ran from the eatery and attempted to flee on an electric scooter. The suspect, 22-year-old Adrian Pozo, did not get far before he was handcuffed.

Pozo faces possible charges of felony crime threats in an attempt to terrorize and misdemeanor obstructing a peace officer.
