Tuolumne County, CA — Caltrans reports that due to anticipated snow in the high country, Highway 108 Sonora Pass is closed, effective this morning, until further notice.

In addition, Highway 120 Tioga Pass and Glacier Point Road were closed in Yosemite National Park last night.

Precipitation, a mix of rain and snow, is projected throughout late this morning and into the afternoon. For Sonora Pass, the closure starts at Kennedy Meadows, and for Tioga Pass, the closure is at Crane Flat.

The roadways are anticipated to reopen after the weather system passes through. There are also chances for high-country snow on Thursday and Saturday.
