Mountain Ranch, CA — A hazardous tree limb project in the Mountain Ranch area of Calaveras County will cause traffic delays tomorrow.
Due to the narrowness of the road, a section of Whiskey Slide Road, between West Murray Creek Road and East Murray Creek Road, will be closed on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. County public works crews will be cutting and trimming trees in that area from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Detour signage and personnel will be in place, possibly causing up to 5-minute delays, so motorists may want to find an alternative.
Any questions or need to report urgent road-related issues can be directed to the Calaveras County Public Works Department at (209) 754-6401 during regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm). After regular business hours, contact the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office at (209) 754-6500 (non-emergency phone number).
