Countywide Roadway Striping To Delay Traffic

Tuolumne County, CA – Motorists can expect countywide road striping to cause delays starting next week.

The Tuolumne County Department of Public Works has contracted Central Striping Service, Inc., out of Rancho Cordova to conduct road lane striping on various county-maintained roads in Jamestown, Don Pedro, Sonora, Soulsbyville, Crystal Falls, Tuolumne, Twain Harte, and Groveland. Crews will begin the work on Monday, November 4, 2024, and continue for about two weeks, weather dependent.

Travelers can expect minor delays while the striping is being done. County roads officials caution that freshly painted stripes immediately behind the paint trucks will be wet; please avoid driving on them.”

Motorists are also asked to slow down and use caution while obeying all construction signs or traffic control personnel in the construction zone.
