Calaveras County, CA – The public is being asked to help pick from a second phase of slogans for the Keep Calaveras Clean Project!
As reported here last month, the public was asked to come up with or select a project slogan. Now the Calaveras County Department of Public Works wants the public to choose from some new ideas. Public works officials say with grant funding through the Clean California Local Grant Opportunity, they will be implementing this beautification project to clean community parks with volunteer groups throughout the upcoming year.
“We are narrowing down to the final four (4) slogans. The slogan should embrace our commitment to our county to reduce trash, graffiti, and pollution in Calaveras communities and across Calaveras County, spreading awareness about litter prevention to peers,” said county public works officials.
