Sonora, CA – Tuolumne County Public Works officials have pushed back the start date for the Italian Bar Road Storm Damage Repair project.
As we reported earlier, Centerline Drilling, Inc. was hired to complete the $498,000 project that was slated to begin on Wednesday, November 6th, but that date has been moved to Tuesday, November 12th. The construction project will run until Friday, December 20th. The slide repair will force the closure of a section of Italian Bar Road half a mile north of the Lost Dutchman’s Mining Association Italian Bar Camp (South Fork Stanislaus River).
County road officials provided this construction schedule:
Travelers could see delays of up to 10 minutes. Motorists are asked to find an alternative route while the roadway is closed and to obey all construction signs and/or traffic control personnel in the construction zone.
